A bet where the winnings from one bet are placed on the next bet. The winnings accumulate, giving a large theoretical return. In reality, not very profitable as it only takes one to lose and your whole bet loses.

Arbitrage.
A combination of bets which guarantees a theoretical risk free profit. These sometimes occur when one bookie offers a price which is out of line with the rest of the market. Opportunities don't last long as the bookie will adjust their prices accordingly.

Asian Handicap.
A type of bet where one team is given a handicap make the odds of beating the handicap around evens and the odds of not beating the handicap around evens. Popular in Asia.

Banker.
A bet that is highly likely to win. Odds are usually less than 1.5 for these types of bets.

Betting Exchange.
A place where people bet against each other. The exchange takes a commission from each winning trade.

Book Value.
The over round that a bookie builds into the odds. For example a typical football match will be booked to 110% meaning that if you bet on all outcomes you'd lose about 10%. Very similar to payout which is defined as 100/book value. To work out book value simply use this formula, Book Value = 1/outcome1_odds + 1/outcome2_odds + ...

Bookmaker, bookie.
The person who accepts a bet.

Decimal odds.
The odds expressed as a decimal, with the stake included in the overall price. For example decimal odds of 3 equals fractional odds of 2/1, as the stake is included in the former but not the latter.

Double.
An accumulator with 2 bets.

Double chance.
A bet that is offered on the 3 way market where you bet on 2 outcomes. For example you might bet on the home win or draw. Odds are usually very poor but you are much more likely to win the bet.

Draw no bet.
A bet where the draw returns your stake. This is exactly the same as a +0 Asian Handicap.

Each Way.
A type of bet where you can still win if your choices comes in 2nd/3rd/4th depending on the market. The bet is split into 2, half placed on a straight win and half on, say the next 4 places. This is popular in horse racing but is used in football, in some markets, eg. First goal scorer.

European Handicap.
Do not confuse with Asian Handicaps. This is where a team is given a goal start but the bet cannot be drawn. Three prices are quoted, on for the team giving the handicap, one for the team with the handicap and one for the handicap draw. For example if a team is given a +1 European handicap and the match is lost by a single goal, the bet still loses, unlike with Asian Handicaps where the stakes are refunded. A +1 handicap is equivalent to a +0.5 Asian Handicap, a -1 handicap is equivalent to a -1.5 Asian Handicap.

Evens.
A bet where the odds are 1/1 fractional or 2 decimal. Basically you double your money if you bet on this and it wins.

Fixed odds betting.
This is where you know what you are going to win or lose at the time of placing the bet. Your winnings and liability are 'fixed'. Compare with spread betting.

Fractional odds.
These are a popular way of expressing odds in Britain. The stake is not included in the return. For example, 2/1 is equal to 3 decimal, as it only expresses the winning part of the bet.

Goal line, Unders/overs, total goals.
All similar markets centered around the total goals in a match. Unders/overs usually mean 2 goals or under, for unders and 3 goals or more for overs. The goal line is practically the same as unders/overs but the bet can draw. For example if the goal line is 3, a game with 2 goals over few will win the unders, a game with 4 or more will win the overs while a game with exactly 3 goals will void the bet. Sometimes the goal lines have quarters in them, eg. 2.25, here is there are exactly 2 goals in the match, the unders bet will win half, while the overs will lose half. Total goals are usually expressed in 3 brackets, 0-1, 2-3 and 4+.

Half Time/Full Time, sometimes called double result.
This is where you bet on what the results at half time and full time are.

Lay a Bet.
This is what a bookmaker does when he accepts a bet. It is possible to lay bets yourself on a betting exchange.

Odds against.
A bet where the odds are greater than evens.

Odds on.
A bet where the odds are less than evens.

Scorecast.
This is a bet where you predict the first goal score and the correct score. Odds are good but getting these right is very difficult.

Spread betting.
An increasingly popular method of betting where the returns aren't fixed. You be on the difference between what the bookies sets as the spread and what you think will happen. For example in the time of first goal market, the bookie may offer a quote of 26-29 minutes. You can either go under (buy) or over (sell) this spread. If you bet under and a goal is scored in the 6th minute you win 20 (26-6) times your stake. However if it ends up being scored in the 80th minute you are going to end up losing a lot of money.

Three-way betting or 1X2.
Betting on a home win/ draw/ or away win. 1X2 because in betting shops, you mark 1 for home win, X for a draw and 2 for an away win.

Void bet.
In Asian Handicap terms this is where the bet draws. Void bets can also occur in other markets, for example in the first goal scorer market if your player isn't on the pitch when the first goal is scored the bet is void. Can happen if matches are postponed or abandoned.

Ben writes football (soccer) betting tips for http://www.klsbetting.com

adidas Euro 2008 Sala Soccer Ball

#615535 Official match ball of the UEFA Futsal Championship

It is amazing how 2 similar incidents can be taken so differently in 2 different countries.

I am talking about how reckless tackles leading to serious injuries were treated in Spain and England.

2 weeks ago in the game between Recreativo Huelva and Real Madrid, Recreativo defender, Quique Alvarez was guilty of a crude tackle on Real's Arjen Robben as he caught him on his Achilles putting him out for 4 to 5 weeks.

The reaction in Spain was swift and vicious as they rounded on Alvarez with everybody from fans to press condemning the player for his actions. To the player's credit he did say that although it was an accident, it was still a bad challenge and whatever punishment comes his way, he deserves it.

In England, 1 week before the aforementioned incident, Arsenal's Eduardo Da Silva was a victim of a terrible tackle by Birmingham City's Martin Taylor that left him out for 9 months, out of the Euro2008 and his career in the balance.

The condemnation was not as bad as it was in Spain although some Croatian fans reportedly sent death threats to Taylor. But the saddest part as far as I am concerned is that Martin Taylor was made to look like the victim and not the perpetuator.

Everyone was coming out with lame excuses like he was not a dirty player or that the last time he was sent off was a long time ago. There were even messages of support for Taylor as if he was going through a traumatic experience. His manager Alex McLeish voiced concerns about his well-being as he felt that he had been affected by all the publicity surrounding the incident.

I do not condone the death threats in any way but I also do not feel that martin Taylor should be made out to be the victim as accident or not, that type of tackle had been frowned upon the whole season by referees as they issued out yellow cards and in a lot cases red cards for that type of challenge.

Charlie Nicholas had warned earlier on Soccer Saturday that someone risked being badly hurt by 1 of these challenges and he was proved right.

I do not think that Martin Taylor intentionally went out to injure Eduardo as only he can answer that with certainty because if I did then I would have approved of his being charged with grievous bodily harm but I do think that a 3 man suspension is way to inadequate for what he did.

His coming out to say that Arsenal manager made the situation even worse with his comments is another thing that did not go down well with me. I think he should be out as long as Eduardo is going to be possibly with half or no pay and tackles like that should be totally outlawed.

As long as players keep getting minor suspensions and fines they would feel it is okay to go in with dangerous tackles and unfortunately it happens far too often in England where hard tackling is sometimes mistaken for barbarity.

For more Football news visit http://www.footballclubsblog.com

My name is Dennis and I have written a number of articles on how to make it big online.

Learn more on how to become successful online by going here and clicking on 'my web page' NOW

Austria EURO 2008 Soccer T-Shirt

Country: Austria #610628.SC Austria has a great chance to win the EURO 2008 WILL YOU BE THERE?

As many experts have said, poker is a game that must be viewed as one continuous session that lasts a lifetime. If one can keep this simple statement in mind, it can make the short-term variances, or luck, less painful when the underdog wins. Recently this point was driven home to me not once but twice in the same night.

I often play in a local weekly No Limit Texas HoldEm tournament and the following two hands came up involving my wife and me. Just before I left, she decided to play in her first poker tournament and went with me. She was very nervous and I told her to play like she had learned and not like Gus Hansen. As it turned out, she lasted longer than I did and just missed the money. She played tight and aggressive and got all in with the odds in her favor when it mattered.

The first hand I want to discuss is the one that knocked me out of the tournament. I was under the gun and had about 900 chips left (average was 1500). When I looked down and saw pocket aces, I decided to move all in, as I had built a rather loose image and felt one of the large stacks would try to keep me honest. Well, I got my wish. A very solid player in middle position raised all in for about 500 more to isolate me and had no other takers. When he turned over AK off suit I was elated as I was over a 92% favorite to double up. Of course if my aces had held up you wouldnt be reading about it here. After all of the burns and turns the board read Q, T, 6, T, J giving him a straight and me a seat on the sidelines.

The next hand I want to discuss is the one that knocked my wife out of the tournament. It was down to four players and she and the other middle-sized stack both got all in before the flop. She had AK off suit against his A8 suited, which made her a 69% favorite. After the flop came K, T, 9 rainbow she was a 91% favorite. The turn was a 6 and the river was a 7, giving him a straight and her a place beside me. She would have been the chip leader and in the money if she would have won that hand.

Some people would whine about both of these as being bad beats and act like the cards owed them something. The way I choose to look at these situations is a little different and helps keep me focused and off tilt. If Im a 95% favorite and the 5% wins, then I feel that the next time Ill be a 96% favorite because I know that Ill win 95 out of 100 times and Ive already used up one of the losses. I also know that if I continue to strive to put myself in these situations, I will be successful.

Of course this is not the only method one can use to avoid tilt. Here are some suggestions and methods that work for some players. The most important thing is to have a plan in place ahead of time. So find something that works for you and your game and stick with it.

1. Understand that you will receive bad beats as a poker player. As a matter of fact you will receive more bad beats, as you become a better player. This is because you will be less likely to get your money in the pot as an underdog than your opponents who dont play as well as you. Therefore you will have fewer chances to give bad beats than receive them. The simple process of consciously recognizing that you will receive bad beats is the first step in handling them well.

2. Often a bad beat or two in a short time is a good excuse to take a break. Remember that poker is a lifelong game and there will be another hand dealt when you get back. Missing a few hands or even a few hours can be beneficial. Often a breath of fresh air and a short walk will do wonders for your frame of mind.

3. Make a conscious decision to tighten up your starting hand requirements for a few rounds. If playing Holdem, play only AA, KK, QQ, and AK. This will guarantee that you will not be playing many hands for a few rounds and will only let you enter the pot with a strong hand. What will happen most times is you will play no hands except your big blind and this will give you time to start thinking correctly again.

4. Short bouts of tilt are least harmful in limit poker. If playing pot-limit or no-limit, even a short stint of tilt can put a large dent in your bankroll or eliminate you from a tournament. For this reason, when playing pot-limit or no-limit I strongly suggest a short break, or even switching to a limit game for a while if you are able.

5. Some players start drinking when they receive a bad beat. Do not let this be you. No matter how bad the beat was, drinking will in no way help you make the correct decisions to turn your session around.

As many before me have written, get your money in with the best of it and over the long run you will be not only a winning player, but a profitable one too.

Wesley R Young is the author of a weekly syndicated online poker column at http://www.thepokercolumn.com and you can find more poker strategy and reviews by him at http://www.pokermonger.com

England EURO 2008 Soccer Track Top

#610564.NV You love England and Football what else is there?

On 1st August, 2006, Steve McClaren replaced Sven-Goran Eriksson as the new England manager. The move was welcomed by some quarters who wanted an English manager back at the helm of the national team. Only a few months into his new job though, McClaren is already being dubbed Sven Mark II.

When the English FA announced on 23rd January, 2006, that Sven would be leaving as England manager I could not help but smile. In my opinion Sven was not the man to bring silverware to the national team. People pointed out that his competitive record for England was second to none (which you can not argue with), but his tactics seemed negative and he struggled with substitutions to help change a match.

Going into the quarter final match against Brazil in the 2002 World Cup, I thought to myself if we get a result against Brazil then we can lift the trophy for the first time since 1966. I believed this due to the soft competition that was left in the tournament after the other big boys (France, Argentina, Portugal etc) had been sent packing. England were leading 1-0 at half time courtesy of a Michael Owen goal which led to a sense of optimism. Early in the second half goals from Rivaldo and Ronaldinho put the Brazilians in the lead. In the 57th minute Ronaldinho was sent off but Sven did nothing to change his tactics to take the game to Brazil.

The Brazil match was not the last time he Swede was criticised for his tactics and substitutions. Again Eriksson was criticized for England's overly-defensive performances in their first-round loss to France and also their quarter final elimination by hosts Portugal during Euro 2004. When the results seemed to matter the Swede seemed to mishandle the tactics.

Ericssons tactics also came under scrutiny after Englands 1-0 defeat at the hands of Northern Ireland. Although it was his first defeat in any World Cup or European Championship qualifiers, both fans and BBC commentators criticised his charisma and tactical awareness. A good example of this was his choice for defensive midfielder as he chose David Beckham! It seemed to me that he lacked passion and this seemed to rub off on his players which was in stark contrast to the fired up and passionate Irish.

Going into the 2006 World Cup in Germany, as usual the British media gave the public a misguided sense of optimism. Yes England did have a good squad of players, but they also had a very inapt management team at the helm. I was only one of a handful of people who could not see England passing the quarter final stages of the World Cup. I told numerous people that as long as we had Sven at the helm we would not progress further then we had done in previous competitions.

Even though England were unbeaten after the group stage of the tournament, with wins against Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago, followed by a draw against Sweden. I considered the manner of the results to be far from satisfactory and this was evident in the match against Sweden. Whilst I watched the match I was shocked to see England squander a 1-0 lead and almost lose the match towards the end.

In the second round the nation had to endure a lacklustre performance against Ecuador and we had to rely on a David Beckham trademark free kick to see us through. Not surprising that before the Portugal match I put a bet on our rivals to qualify for the semi finals. England (not surprisingly) were defeated 3-1 on penalties with the score 0-0 after extra time. During the match the enigma of class which is Wayne Rooney was sent of for a temper tantrum which did not help the nations cause and the alleged darling of English football, David Beckham, went off through injury.

The English media as well as the fans might have wanted an English manager to replace Sven, but this pressure on the FA is going to turn round and bite them on their bottom in a matter of time. The excellent Guus Hiddink was available after leaving PSV and Australia and I was really gutted when the FA did not go for him. I do not blame him for turning down an interview as the FA wanted to place him on a short list alongside Alan Curbishley, Steve McClaren and Sam Allardyce!

Big Phil Scolari was also available (before he signed a two year contract extension) and he has a proven track record after winning the World Cup with Brazil and taking Portugal to the final of Euro 2004 and also the semi final of the 2006 World Cup. Scolari sensibly turned down the job in my opinion as why would you want to be in a job when the media try and influence your tactics and squad?

It also seems to me to be ludicrous that the powers that be overlooked Martin ONeil. You only have to look at how he has resuscitated Aston Villa this season to see the quality that he oozes.

Yet despite the fact that three quality none English managers were available and not really attached to any clubs, it seems bizarre that the FA bowed to media pressure and selected an Englishman, especially the inapt Steve McClaren.

Already McClaren has proved to be as inept and disastrous as I feared he would be. Yes he did have the guts to drop the untouchable David Beckham, but apart from that he still has a Sven-ness about his tactics and judgement. For some reason he is sticking with his Boro prodigy (Stuart Downing) on the left flank, who is an average Premiership player not cut-out for international football. Even worse he has still not learnt from Svens mistake that Gerard and Lampard can not play together in the same midfield.

In my opinion Frank Lampard is very overrated and if you took his goals away from him he would look average (and this was clear in the 2006 World Cup). Steven Gerrard puts Lampard to shame in his all-round play and ability, yet McClaren (trying to solve Svens problem) has pushed Gerrard out wide in order to accommodate both players! When will he learn and see like myself and many others that it simply does not work and that Lampard should be confined to the bench in order to play Gerrard in the centre.

Englands trip to Zagreb in November for a European Championship qualifying match was a disaster! People have to remember that Croatia have only lost once at home since their independence and during that time have played Brazil, Italy and Germany who have better national teams then the English. So far McClaren to bow to media pressure and revert to an untested 3-5-2 formation was a disaster waiting to happen.

I bet his opposite number, Slaven Bilic, was smiling to himself when he saw the team sheets before the kick-off. Bilic later told journalists he was delighted the see England play 3-5-2 because Englands players, most significantly the full-backs, are not used to the formation and secondly because Croatia (historically) play 3-5-2. So if McClarens opposite number can see the pitfalls in the formation (for the England team), why cant the England coaching staff?

McClarens judgement and arrogance was further exposed in the post match interview when a Croatian journalist asked Mr McClaren, did Croatia win because they are the better team, or because of your mistakes? The new Sven replied My mistake. and did not even mention the fact that Croatia outplayed England and put their 3-5-2 formation to shame. This just shows the arrogance that McClaren has and its sad to say English fans in general.

England fans can not blame anyone but the current coach and his staff for Englands defeat in Zagreb and also past failings under Sven-Goran Eriksson. Saying that England do not have the players to win tournaments or get key results is a poor excuse. You only have to look at Northern Irelands and Scotlands recent victories over Spain in Belfast and France in Glasgow respectively to see that that excuse does not work (and that is without mentioning the Greek time who won Euro 2004).

It is sad to say that Steve McClaren is Sven Mark II, but in his short time at the helm of the England national team he is proving my new name is suitable for him. Unfortunately for England fans, they will not see any silverware over the next few years with Svens predecessor as coach. The English FA should have ignored the publics and medias call for an Englishman to return to the job and gone for Hiddink, Scolari or ONeil. For the time being it seems that England are stuck with Sven Mark II.

Steven Gore is the editor of SoccerManager.com, the free online soccer game

Netherlands UEFA EURO 2008 Revolution T-Shirt

- 100% cotton White t-shirt - Double needle construction stitching at seams - Multi printed t-shirt designed for the UEFA EURO 2008 Soccer Championship - Color inserts - Country primary logo on front - EURO 2008 logo printed on sleeve - Team country name printed on back

Founded in 1898, the Italian Football League, also known as Italy soccer, is the highest football league in the country. Serie A, which began in 1929, is the top division of Italy Soccer and is primarily sponsored by Italian mobile phone company TIM. Prior to the inception of Serie A, Italy soccer was structured into regional groups. The championship title is commonly referred to as Scudetto, which means small shield because the champions uniforms will feature a small coat of arms during the following season. After more than 100 years of play, Italy soccer is at the height of its popularity in both the eyes of the fans and in the media. As we know it today, Serie A is the most elite of all divisions in the Italian Football League. Other divisions include Serie B, Serie C1, Serie C2, Serie D and Eccellenza.

With an Italy soccer league consisting of 18, 18 or 20 teams, Serie A requires that each club play all other teams on two occasions, once at their home stadium and once at the home of their opponents. The first half of a traditional Italy soccer season consists of each team competing once against all of the other clubs. The second half of the season will consist of the same competitions in the same order, with the only difference being the location of the games.

When it comes to scoring, an Italy soccer team receives three points for a win, one point for a tie and no points for a loss. When it comes to tallying the points to see which club will be crowned as champion, teams are ranked according to their total points accumulated during the season. If two teams are found to have equal points at the conclusion of a season, those two teams will meet up in a one match playoff. The top four teams in the Serie A of Italy soccer will qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Like the area itself, Italy soccer is rich in history and in tradition. With so many years of successful play, the competitors have set a number of records. As of September 2006, three players hold the record for most appearances. These include Paolo Maldini, Gianluca Pagliuca and Dino Zoff. The current records held for the oldest player appearance include Marco Ballotta and Dino Zoff. During the 2005-06 season, A.S. Roma set the record for most consecutive wins with a total of 11 straight victories.

For additional information on Serie A and/or Italy soccer, fans may visit their official website at http://www.lega-calcio.it. Current standings, news, updates, photos, historical profiles and league news is available online and is offered primarily in the Italian language. A professional design with colorful appeal make this a very popular website among Italy soccer fans. Soccer, itself, remains a popular sport throughout the world and is celebrated in many different countries. With legions of fans worldwide, it appears that soccer players will be kicking high for many years to come.

Read all Italian soccer news, AC Milan soccer news and all other soccer news on http://www.sportsnews24h.com/Soccer/
euro2008.uefa.com - Home Page

Ireland Euro 2008 Hooded Track Top

Country: Ireland #610560.GR Even though Ireland won't be at Euro 2008, the luck o' the Irish can be with YOU

The well-worn maxim reminds us that to be the best, you've got to be the best. The natural extension of this, of course, is that to beat the best, you've got to play them. Playing in CONCACAF, the United States has the decided disadvantage of having only one true world footballing nation to call its rival. So, in order to bolster the overall level of its competition, it has to schedule top competition for friendlies, else wait for the World Cup.

In the past, European football fans would look down their noses at Americans, dismissing their presence in the World Cup by disdainfully asking, "who did they play to get here?" Setting aside the fact that there are as many minnows in UEFA as in CONCACAF, the new more aggressive scheduling strategy by the United States will help to alleviate this concern. Consider: in the eighteen months before qualification starts in earnest for the USA, the Yanks will have played Brazil, Argentina (twice), Mexico (three times), at England, at Spain, Colombia, and Sweden (twice). Add to this at least two more games against Mexico in qualifying and the USA's participation in the Confederations Cup where it will play some combination of the South America, European, or Asian champion, along with host South Africa, and we see that the young American squad will certainly be tried and tested by the time they (hopefully) arrive in South Africa in the summer of 2010.

Whether this approach is prudent is a matter separate from whether it is necessary given the American aspirations of winning the World Cup by 2014. As you might expect midway between World Cups, the American national team is looking at a number of young players, many of whom seem extremely promising. But, as much skill and moxie as Adu, Altidore, Bradley, and Edu have shown, they all need seasoning, and the only way to get this seasoning is playing football at the highest level. Of course, playing a friendly against Brazil is not nearly as valuable as, say, playing consistently for an elite club like Manchester United or Barcelona, but it certainly does have value.

One must keep in mind, though, that aggressive scheduling is not a positive thing in itself. In sports, confidence is an extremely precious commodity, and as we saw when the United States had an extended period of poor performances in Europe (still not clear that that era is over. After all, how many times can we schedule Poland?), bad results against good teams can still have a detrimental impact on the psyche and performance of a team. When, for example, the United States played Brazil and lost this past summer, by all accounts team USA played quite well against a team stocked with superstars. That said, they still lost... at home. At some point, to take the next step in its development the United States must begin winning these matches.

In boxing, for example, trainers rarely expose talented young prospects to other highly talented or cagey fighters early in their careers. Instead, they build their confidence and hone specific skills against lesser or tailor-made opponents. Some might argue that as an approach to international success, the USA needs to follow a similar path. Rather than take on the Argentinas or Brazils of the world, feast on Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and second tier South American and European sides like Venezuela or Israel. In the end, whatever confidence one gains beating these teams would be more than offset by the feeling of dread that would come over Team USA the moment they realized that there were teams with decidedly more talent and ability than them.

Now, this line of thinking presupposes that the United States will not get results against these world powers. Obviously, one would think, if Team USA is able to get wins or draws -especially in difficult locations such as Wembley or Azteca- it would be a complete boon to American confidence and it would bode well for the future performance of the American side. For the most part, this is true, but one must also remain cognizant of history. The United States has gotten impressive results against top teams; the win against Brazil in the Gold Cup comes to mind. That said, it is telling that US fans remember this game more than a decade later while most Brazilian fans would have to be reminded that their team even participated in the Gold Cup. This is ever more so the case with respect to high profile friendly wins. Friendly matches can be fool's gold; managers test new lineups, stars often don't show up to play, and when they do they are often unmotivated and tired from their club teams. In other words, supposing that Argentina sends its B+ team, and the USA gets a result sans Messi, Mascherano or some other high profile Argentines in the lineup, what should American fans make of it? Not nothing, but at the same time it shouldn't serve as a predictor for World Cup success.

So, as Team USA prepares to begin its rather ambitious summer schedule, American fans should look forward to it with a sense of cautious optimism. There is no doubt that these matches present a real opportunity for Team USA. That said, fans should remember that a great summer does not guarantee future success, nor would a bad one portend coming disaster. Of course, American soccer fans are a small but rabid bunch, so asking them to take these matches in stride may be asking too much.

Please discuss your thoughts on the http://www.spotlightsoccer.com forums.

http://www.spotlightsoccer.com

Rampage Products Jeep Wrangler Euro Light Guards 6pc Set Black Powdercoated Jeep Wrangler 2007 to 2008 TJL Unlimited - (Includes guards for Headlights, Turn Signals, and Side Markers)

The field is their courtroom. The Offense is their Plaintiff. Their.. well.. you get the idea. With the NFL Draft still over a month away, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to pry away two 2nd round picks from fellow NFC opponents on Wednesday with the signings of New Orleans Saints Linebacker Matt McCoy and former Detroit Lion Teddy Lehman.

Already established as one of the leagues best young talents, former Dick Butkus and Chuck Bednarik award winner Teddy Lehman will again attempt to beat the injury bug in 2008, and as a Buccaneer fan, I cant even imagine the benefits if he does.

After being drafted with the 5th pick in 2004, Lehman literally played himself out of his well-deserved starting role. He played in all 16 games as a rookie compiling 102 tackles, but that's not the story. As a rookie, Teddy Lehman played in 1,054 defensive plays and 171 plays on special teams which totals an outstanding 1,225 plays in his first 6 months in the NFL.

Unfortunately this workhorse would never find his calling in Detroit, tallying only 18 tackles in 2005 and 2006. In 2007, his 27 tackles came in 16 games as a special teams player, his final season with the team.

For Matt McCoy, it's his 3rd and maybe final chance in the NFL. He's got the true ability to start in the NFL as we saw in 2006 where he tallied 66 tackles in 15 games with the Philadelphia Eagles and had 5 or more tackles in 8 of those games.

Though rattled with injuries in recent years, the Buccaneers payed a small price for the potential to have one of the leagues youngest yet most productive Linebacker units in 2008.

BucsReport.com has that story and many more as our around the clock coverage of Buccaneers football continues. Breaking News, In-Depth coverage, Game Reviews, Injury status'. We are the Unofficial Authority of Buccaneers Football.

Carter@BucsReport.com

Sweden EURO 2008 Soccer T-Shirt

Country: Sweden #610575.RO If the Landslaget are to win the Euro 2008, they need YOUR support!

The next football event which will shake the European grounds is just around the corner. The Euro 2008 will be held on 7 June, 2008 in various cities of the countries of Switzerland and Austria.

The four group seedings for the event has recently taken place and it seems it will have an unpredictable edge as the groups are set in the following way: Pot One: Switzerland, Austria, Greece and Netherlands. Pot Two: Croatia, Italy, Czech Republic and Sweden. Pot Three: Romania, Germany, Portugal and Spain and Pot Four: Poland, France, Turkey and Russia.

UEFA draw for the 16-team tournament will be held Dec. 2 in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Over the years, the Azzurri have had tough time moving forward in the team eliminations as they continue to be placed in the so called "Group of Deaths". Back in 1978 Italy had to play the host and eventual winners Argentina, France and Hungary. At the World Cup USA 1994, Italians had one the closest-fight battles as their group became the strongest in football history; Ireland, Mexico, Norway along with Italy scored almost the same amount of points. The Italians qualified only by a goal difference.

For the Euro 1996, Germany, Czech Republic and Russia were part of the group selection the Italians had to play, they were knocked out due to a head-to-head match against the Czechs.

And more recently, the scenario for the Euro 2008 points to a group in which the Azzurri could play Spain, Holland and France or perhaps even a set of un fancied teams including Poland, Romania, Sweden and Austria.

Regarding the well-known "Oranje" this team was knocked out of the last World Cup in the second round, and they did have to work hard in order to qualify for Euro 2008 in a very weak group. Holland possibly has the worst defence after Austria but it is their back-line which helps with names like: Wilfred Bouma, Andre Ooijer and Mario Melchiot. Holland, will be allowed to play all their games in the one location and have an advantage due to their Pot One position.

The above mentioned seedings have been arranged according to a coefficient shown during the matches won and lost and goals scored throughout the qualifying for the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008.

Claudia Beckford provides outstanding and current content to sports enthusiast in the sports betting industry.

EURO 2008 Football Fever Sticker Book

Yesterday night I indulged into the extravagance of declared wakefulness (otherwise I pretend I'm sleeping, until I actually do). So I turned on the TV, and found nothing else, but the world cup finale.

After hearing for long "J'Aime Francais", tales of "Zidane", I had to!!

The closing ceremony was grand and it started on a very dancy note with Shakira performing 'Hips Don't Lie', I like that song a lot!! Then anthems of the teams and among the faces, I was looking for the cuter ones that would help me survive a game where all men run after a ball.

The trophy was a beautiful maid, that all wanted to get hold of, and surprisingly, the ball, that was the object of affection of both the teams was quite a beautiful one herself!

To be noted: Italy's goal keeper's very sexy and player numbered 9 (I guess) too!!

The game started with two fabulous goals, I liked both of them!

There's a fire in Zidane's eyes, that look of aggression, that passion, and in the end, that all made him fancy the red card, and in a way, be the major factor for France's loss but I can't say for sure, for it was the first ever football match I've seen!!

Zidane, fathered almost all the players on the field, with his body language, and awesome attitude. The other team feared him, and his team trusted him like hell, I mean until first half of the game, it was purely a one-man show!!!!

Zidane (first goal scorer) and Materazzi (the second goal scorer) entered in a tiff that led to Zidane leaving the WC finale!!

Some tactics, I was trying to absorb throughout, some missed, some baffled moments. There's one good thing that's not there in cricket but was found in that field of Berlin, players, even on the field, are ready to smile to each other, and also lend a hand when one falls. This was grand for me, and I liked it for this is the true "sportsman's spirit". Other grandness was sure to be there as it was the world cup finale, best ground, best referees, (supposedly) best teams, best football court (or whatever its called).

The penalty kicks, the referee running with the players in the field, players hitting each other, handsome goalkeeper, were some things I had seen for the first time, rather known for the first time!

And France, just lost by an inch!!

That fateful kick, maybe it was never meant to be!

"The Jinx hit the French!"

And Italians led the golden lady away to glory, holding her, fancying her!!

Read more articles about Sports at http://www.EvenSports.com

Tarang Bhargava is the CEO of Vexat Inc. and has an affiliate marketing experience of six years. Patrice Evra had a very good season as did Gael Clichy.

Massimo Tonnetto of Roma was very good for some spells but the likes of Phillip Lamm was not that effective mainly because at Bayern his position kept on changing due to injuries to other team members. Gilberto was excellent for Hertha Berlin

Urby Emanuelson had a very good season but I have opted for Eric Abidal for starring at Lyon, France and now Barcelona. Ironically the player I think is the best left back in the world; Gianluca Zambrotta played most of the time on the right where he is nowhere as effective.

For more Football news visit http://www.footballclubsblog.com

My name is Dennis and have written a number of articles on how to make it big online.

Learn more on how to become successful online by going here and clicking on 'my web page' NOW

2008 Soccer UEFA EURO Cup Trading Cards Box - 40 packs / 6 cards

The collection features the best players from the top European clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona and AC Milan. As your trading card collection grows, you can pick dream teams and formations like a real manager.

Over the course of a football season, players will experience a decline in strength and power without continued strength training. This obviously will affect performance on the field so continuation of the strength program throughout the season is crucial for success.

Ten years ago, in-season weight lifting programs were mostly non-existent at the high school level. Strength training at the college level was done only one to two times a week, and usually after practice. Traditional programs emphasized higher reps with less weight because the players were already exhausted from practice by the time they hit the weight room. With what we know now about periodization and hitting your peak prior to the start of the season, why go back to light weight and high reps?

Many high school and college football programs are now using a system that keeps the weight and intensity level high, and the reps low to maintain strength and power throughout the season. High intensity, lower volume workouts are the best way to maintain what the athletes worked so hard for over the summer. Many schools have added strength training classes during the school day, or athletes have access to the weight room prior to school allowing for training without practice fatigue.

Here is a sample program:

Day 1: (3x4)

Squats

Explosive deadlift with a shrug

Military Press

Day 2: (3x4)

Power Clean

Bench Press

Glute/Ham or RDL (3x8)

Day 3: (3x8)

Power Squat

Power Bench

Core work

This is what a typical in-season program would look like with lower volume because time is limited, but with high intensity for optimum strength and power. If your schedule will allow for a third day of training, use lighter weights but perform the exercises explosively. Note also that this schedule includes mostly compound movements to work multiple muscle groups in a minimal amount of time.

Be sure to alter the program for a week or two during the season to prevent plateaus, and to make the program more exciting for your athletes. For example, weeks three and six use plyometric training or explosive medicine ball drills in place of weight training. Combination lifts are another excellent option. Examples would include a front squat into an overhead press, hang clean into a front squat, and a dumbbell deadlift into a bent row. Be creative during these weeks because any change in the stimulus to the muscles will help prevent plateaus and complacency.

During the season, safety in the weight room also needs to be stressed with the athletes. When lifting with heavier weights and low reps, a spotter is required. Athletes also need to understand the importance of hitting the proper number of repetitions to maintain their strength levels. Using too much weight, relying on the spotter to complete the reps, and using poor technique could all lead to injury. Nor will it produce the desired results.

With more time allotted to strength training during the school day, be sure to take advantage of these advanced training techniques to keep your strength and power levels up throughout the season. You'll see a difference in your performance especially at the end of the season.

Joe Heiler PT, CSCS is a physical therapist specializing in sports medicine and orthopedics in Traverse City, Michigan. This will surely leave you in a dizzy state, trying to make sense of all these online gaming stuff, when all you want to do is play some casino games or spend a few hours at your favorite card table.

Knowing where to go and how to begin playing online will save players a whole lot of time and money, and it will also allow them to enjoy their gaming experience more. People would think that picking out a gambling site from the myriad of options on the Internet is a simple affair. Perhaps they select their first casino based on who gives the highest payouts, or which one gives the highest stakes. While these factors certainly play a major role in helping you choose your online gaming venue, there are a few other important aspects to keep in mind, some of which may be neglected.

Payouts - Since every casino wants to be in on the "Top Ten" list of online casino reviews, finding an online casino with the highest payouts may be a bit difficult. The best thing to do in this case is to go to a well-established gambling resource website and read their reviews for the casinos listed there. You can also check out the winner lists at your favorite casino site, if you already have one in mind. As a rule of thumb, all the better gambling sites have these lists. Plus, if they are a member of the Interactive Gaming Council (IGC), they are required to be truthful of their advertising, which can add more confidence to your decision making.

Downloads - If you're like me, you don't like to spend several minutes of your time downloading software without having any idea what they're getting. And that includes casino software. To help you out, the better casino sites feature a "Preview" page where you can view screenshots or even short videos to give you a better idea what you're downloading. Some online casinos even provide tutorials for beginners that are just learning how to play. Downloading a software for 10 minutes and realizing that you don't like it after all can be annoying, to say the least. The "Preview" section will show you beforehand what you're getting, so look for it and use it before you start downloading.

Licensing - There has been some heated arguments over this issue, but basically, it all comes down to the casino itself. Regulating online casinos can be tough, since it's pretty much a voluntary compliance issue with them. The casino decides whether or not it wants to be licensed and regulated, or not. For example, an online casino buys a license in Antigua costing $100,000. Now they can say they are "licensed". But mind you, there will be no more follow-ups and no compliance rules to obey. They don't have to do this licensing thing at all.

So where does that leave you? Fortunately, there is an organization of online casinos called the Interactive Gaming Council, or IGC. The IGC members are all required to follow their "Ten Points of Conduct", which requires member casinos to be legally licensed, submit themselves to fair play testing, and maintain strict privacy controls over their clients' financial information, among other things. Membership is still voluntary, but being an IGC member shows good faith on part of the casino, so the player can get some comfort from this.

Discover how to choose the best gambling site and how to win at roulette with an amazing roulette system with a 99.4% win rate. Jose Mourinho and Marcello Lippi are the most obvious candidates as they are clubless but Lippi has managed Inter in the past without success so that leaves Mourinho

There are 5 or possibly 6 big jobs to become available next summer and 2 great managers currently without a job.

The teams that may be looking for another manager next season include Spanish giants, Real Madrid, who are said to be unhappy with the aloofness and bizarre behaviour of current manager Bernd Schuster; Barcelona, where it seems they go from 1 controversy to another with players seemingly unhappy, Leo Messi's medical condition, Ronaldinho's poor form and the general belief that coach Frank Rijkard is just plain inept at his job.

The other possibilities include Chelsea where it clear that Avram Grant is not up to the task and never would be; Liverpool that the directors are at loggerheads with the manager and only champions' league victory would seemingly suffice, if that; AC Milan, where it seems a cycle is coming to an end and Inter Milan where the manager has announced that he is leaving at the end of the season.

The 2 outstanding managers currently without a club are Jose Mourinho and Marcello Lippi. It has been well documented in the past that Barcelona and Real Madrid are courting Jose and in Barcelona's case even Lippi as well.

There are 2 potential problems here; the 1st being that Lippi would not want to manage in a place that he cannot speak the language and it seems he would rather manage AC Milan. With Mourinho, the problem is that Madrid and Barcelona public would not warm to his pragmatic approach to management and in Barcelona's case, he already has enemies there with both his brand of football and past antics with Chelsea against them.

I cannot see him going back to Chelsea so soon and he has said he would go back to England someday in the future but not immediately so that leaves AC Milan or Inter Milan.

Looking at both clubs and the way they operate, Jose would not tolerate the interference that goes on at Milan and would not take kindly to the kind of very old players that Carlo Ancelotti has had to put up with as others make buying decisions on his behalf.

So that leaves Inter Milan, a club where club president Massimo Moratti and Mourinho have already made mutual praises of each other in the past. Inter are exactly the kind of club Jose needs and vice versa. They have resources, a club president that does not always interfere and provides money for new players.

Players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic that seem to suffer a mental breakdown in big matches would be cajoled into greatness by Jose as he has developed the career of people like Joe Cole and Deco in the past.

He is exactly what the club needs in the champions' league as they have consistently underperformed in the competition despite the fact that they have 1 of the strongest squads in the world.

The fans do not crave beautiful football so that would not be a problem for Jose as he doesn't either and he would be given carte blanche to bring in the players he likes and with Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard seemingly unhappy at Chelsea, he may entice them there as well as Deco at Barcelona.

Two other teams that may be looking at a new manager depending on how the season finishes for them are Juventus and Valencia. Whilst Jose would be perfect for Juventus, they would have to prove that they can afford him and are on a par with his vision. But judging by their current board and some of their decisions this season, it would not appear that Jose is the 1 for them whilst Valencia do not have the kind of money to compete consistently with Barcelona and Real Madrid in Spain and the Premiership sides in the champions' league.

For more Football news visit http://www.footballclubsblog.com

My name is Dennis and have written a number of articles on how to make it big online.

Learn more on how to become successful online by going here and clicking on 'my web page' NOW.
UEFA Euro 2008 Championships

Italy UEFA EURO 2008 Fan Favorite Ringer T-Shirt

- 100% Prima cotton jersey T-shirt by Bulletin - Contrast neck and sleeves - Double needle construction stitching at seams - Full front print designed for the UEFA EURO 2008 Soccer Championship

AC Milan 0 Arsenal 2

It was a master class by the young men from London as they totally dominated the game from the 20th minute onward and should have won by a larger margin if they had better finishers in their rank.

AC Milan looked like the aging and fading squad that they obviously are and it would be a good idea for them to freshen up their squad at the end of the season.

Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Nesta, Kaka Kaladze, Gennaro Gatusso, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Massimo Ambrosini, Dario Simic, Filippo Inzaghi, Dida, Serginho, and Cristian Brocchi along with manager Carlo Ancelotti were all part of the side that won the champions league way back in 2002 and that is far too many personnel to still be a big part of a club.

Last night Gennaro Gatusso and especially Andrea Pirlo were awful and way off the pace as Cesc Fabregas just completely dominated the midfield. Paolo Maldini at 39 had a fantastic game and would have expected more from his team mates as they let him down badly.

Emmanuel Adebayor was excellent as he single-handedly tormented Kaladze, Nesta and Oddo whilst Aliaksandr Hleb had a field day tormenting the Milan midfield and defence. He was very unlucky to get a yellow card for diving because he was caught by Nesta in the 1st half just at the very edge of the penalty box.

The only times Milan looked dangerous were from corner kicks and the couple of occasions that Kaka broke free and ran at Arsenal. Apart from that they posed no threat whatsoever with Inzaghi very isolated, Pato, extremely disappointing and substitute, Alberto Gilardino, not contributing a jot.

The goals when they came were very timely as Fabregas' speculative shot from 25 yards out caught Milan goalkeeper Zeljko kalac napping for the opener and substitute Theo Walcott using his pace to outwit the poor kaladze and then setting up a very easy chance for Adebayor to grab a goal his performance deserved.

Arsenal can use this result as a springboard for possible success in the league and champions league whilst Milan can either use this loss as a motivation for the rest of their campaign in serieA or a disappointment that they cannot recover from.

Manchester United 1 Lyon 0

Cristiano Ronaldo's goal proved to be the decider in this game when he netted from a cross by Wes Brown in the dying minutes of the 1st half for his 30th goal in his last 30 games.

Sevilla 3 Fenerbahce 2 (Fenerbahce win 4-2 on penalties)

Sevilla went 2-0 up in the 1st 9 minutes of the game with goals from captain Danny Alves from a freekick and then a 30-yard shot from Saydoo Keita. Both goals were big howlers from goalkeeper Volkan Damirel, who then redeemed himself in the penalty shootout by saving 3 penalties from Alves, Enzo Maresca and Escude.

Fenerbahce pulled a goal back through Deivid before Freddy Kanoute made it 3-1.

Sevilla manager then made an almighty error that caused them the tie by taking off leading goalscorer, Luis fabiano to bring on Renato in the second half.

Deivid scored again to take the tie to extra-time and then penalties with Volkan going from zero to hero.

Barcelona 1 Celtic 0

An early goal by Xavi settled this tie once and for all with the downside being a muscular injury to Leo Messi that left him in tears.

For more Football news visit http://www.footballclubsblog.com

My name is Dennis and I have written a number of articles on how to make it big online.

Learn more on how to become successful online by going here and clicking on 'my web page' NOW</a
UEFA Euro 2008 Championships

GMC Denali Tail Lights Euro Red Taillights 2007 2008 2009 07 08 09

Upgrade the look of your car with our after market headlights and tail lights. It turns out, The New England Patriots are not The Greatest Team of All Time, as they were being hailed. And even though they are going down in history, they'll be there for all the wrong reasons. They will forever be considered one of sports' greatest disappointments, grouped with the likes of the 1991 UNLV men's basketball team, another group that didn't lose until it mattered most. It's possible for one loss to overshadow eighteen victories, and we saw it last night. And while I hate to look at a game from the loser's perspective, the historical aspect of this loss is too hard to ignore.

Lost in all of the talk about perfection is the fact that New England has looked very mortal since late November. Since week 12, when The Pats defeated The Eagles by three, the previously perfect team has only been dominant in one and a half games - on December 9th, when they decimated Pittsburgh, and in the first half of their week 16 game against the hapless Dolphins. The warning signs were there, and we chose to ignore them, likely because their story was so compelling.

Or maybe because Mercury Morris and the '72 Dolphins are so annoying. Whatever the reason, we dismissed the fact that this was a different Pats team than the one that ran roughshod over their opponents in the first half of the season. We ignored the impact of the loss of Roosevelt Colvin, which caused them to rely too heavily on the aging Junior Seau and Tedy Bruschi. We also passed over the loss of Sammy Morris, who was the team's best running back when he went down with injury. This team made so many adjustments that they didn't skip a beat in the middle of the season, even with these losses. But something changed along the way. Whether it was fatigue, the impact of injury, or the weight of expectations, New England was no longer invincible in the latter stages of the season. In the playoffs it was more of the same, as they comfortably beat Jacksonville, but slithered by an injury-depleted San Diego team that shockingly outplayed them through three quarters. Despite all that, they made the Super Bowl.

They reminded me of the '95-96 Bulls, who were so dominant in getting off to a 41-3 start to the season, and kept winning, but less decisively, after Scottie Pippen aggravated a back injury and the pressure of winning 70 games became more intense. Those Bulls managed to pull through, and even though they stumbled twice in the finals, their championship was never in doubt. There are no best-of-seven series in football, however, and the Pats stumbled at the worst possible time. And, unfortunately for them, this loss becomes as much a part of their legacy as their three wins in four seasons. All year long, they were primed to do the unthinkable, and then yesterday, they did just that, just not in the way that we were expecting.

One game can change so much. Bill Belichick was considered by some to be the greatest coach ever, based on his remarkable success during the salary cap era. Now, after getting outcoached on the grandest stage (going for it on fourth and 13 instead of kicking a long field goal?!), and suffering through a new round of Spygate allegations, he'll be sure to face more scrutiny than ever before. Tom Brady got outplayed by Eli Manning, and his historic season now carries the same baggage that Peyton Manning's did in 2004 - remarkable, but incomplete. Randy Moss disappeared throughout the playoffs, and the most prolific offense ever was overwhelmed by the Giants' pass rush. In our haste to coronate these three, and their team, we missed the obvious - they were the second best team in the league during the playoffs, when true greatness is defined.

Christopher E. His early professional career got off to a shaky start when he was playing for Corinthians, who didn't consider him good enough and he moved to Benfica in Portugal.

From there he moved to FC Alverca for a season where he performed well and almost renewed his contact with Benfica. However they failed to reach agreement and instead moved to S.C. Salgueiros in for the 1998-99 season, where he scored two goals in 12 matches. His performances were noticed by FC Porto staff, where he moved during the winter transfer window.

After assuming Portuguese nationality in 2002 after living there for 6 years, Deco was called up to play for the national squad; his first match for Portugal was against Brazil in which Deco scored. It was also Portugal's first win over Brazil in 37 years.

When Deco was on the verge of moving to Chelsea in 2004, a deal that was assumed to be concluded, Deco surprised everyone by announcing that he'd prefer to move to Barcelona. After intense negotiations he signed a four year deal with the Catalan club in July of that year.

When joining FC Barcelona he was felt by many to be surplus requirements as he was an attacking midfielder. However, when he was played in central midfield he strengths came out and he has been a popular member of the squad ever since.

For more details of FC Barcelona's players, general information about the club and reservation of FC Barcelona tickets online visit http://www.SimplyBarcelonaTickets.com
2008 Uefa European Football Championship

Italy EURO 2008 Track Top

Country: Italy #610578.RO Are your Ready for EURO 2008?

The sport of football has become a significant staple in the North American culture. Where's is Van der Sar, Van Nistelrooy...besides this, worth to buy it.

Whilst football is recognised as easily the most popular team sport on the planet, drawing television audiences of billions to its major events, relatively few football fans take the opportunity to put their football expertise to the test by taking part in football betting.

For many football fans, being a supporter is all about backing one club for life, however football betting allows you to add excitement to neutral matches by backing the club you rate as strongest. And if your team isn't on a good run of form, placing a bet on the opposition can offer some consolation when your team loses.

Online betting is one of the best ways to become involved in football betting. Most online sportsbooks offer a huge variety of football bets from the world's top leagues, all year round. What's more, an online account can be set up in a matter of minutes, giving you virtually instant access to football betting markets.

Here are just a few of the most popular football betting options:

Match betting - match betting is the simplest type of football betting. It involves betting on the outcome of a match, with each outcome priced at specific odds. You can bet on a team or a draw. Typically the betting slip will carry the name of one team under 'away' and the other under 'home'.

When doing match betting you can also vote on a handicap bet which basically gives one team a one goal advantage or disadvantage before the game has even started. You then bet on the outcome as per a normal match bet.

Score betting - score betting describes a wide range of betting options. The simplest is predicting the final score of a match, and tends to carry very high odds.

Another popular score betting option involves betting on who will score a goal. These bets carry high odds and come in several varieties including: first goal scorer, last goal scorer and anytime goal scorer.

Special bets - every football game will carry a wide variety of additional betting opportunities, with each online bookmaker offering their own game specials. Literally every aspect of the game attracts odds, ranging from the number of corners in the game, through to which players will be injured. These bets often carry some of the highest odds.

Tournament betting - if you're a big picture punter you'll enjoy tournament betting. Betting opportunities range from picking group and pool winners, picking the tournament winner and predicting the number of goals a team will score in the competition. The limits to your tournament betting opportunities are defined only by the bookmaker's imagination!

We hope that this brief introduction to the basics of football betting has been helpful. With several great football tournaments including the African Cup of Nations, Euro 2008, FA Cup and Champions League being played this year you won't find a lack of opportunities to practice your new football betting skills!

Now that you know the basics of football betting you probably want to take it a step further. Go have a look at The Euro 2008 Betting Guideas well as Uefa Cup betting and FA Cup betting to put theory into practice.
UEFA Euro 2008 Championships

adidas Euro 2008 Mini Soccer Ball

#615642 Great ball in a small package

As of 12:01 am this morning the NFL's free agency period as begun. By 3:45 pm, two Giants' linebackers are now gone.

That is the nature of free agency in the NFL. One day they are here and the next they are being paid a lot of money.

Linebackers Kawika Mitchell and Reggie Torbor have been whisked away from the Giants with the lure of more cash. Mitchell signed a long term deal with the Bills and Torbor (who I am a fan of) was signed by the Miami Dolphins.

With a Superbowl ring in tow for both men it was a good move on their part as they more than likely would not have received the same offer from the Giants. Even worse Torbor would have probably been demoted back to the bench with the return of Kiwianuka to the lineup.

Now with Mitchell gone, the opportunity for 3rd year man out Georgia Tech Gerris Wilkenson has been placed in front of him. He played well last year in his substitution rolls when Mitchell went down, and because he did so it is probably the reason why Jerry Reese made no real effort to resign Mitchell.

With all that said however, it now leaves the depth at that position very low. Back about a month ago I told everyone this would be the position they would target in the draft on day #1. With two LBers down, it may be a position they fill within the first 2 rounds.

If his one year history serves us well, Reese has shown that he will let the frenzy of the free agency period affect other teams, and when it settles down, he will fill in gaps on this team with serviceable players. Last year he did it by signing the likes of Kawika Mitchell and Madison Hedgcock, 2 pieces of the Superbowl puzzle that were needed.

By: Michael C.
